Research Interest:

My program of research investigates (1) the neural bases of social cognition, and (2) how social cognition influences learning, judgment, and decision-making. For example, I study why intentional harms seem worse, even when they're really not. My current work focuses on "socialized" perceptions of natural disasters, and hijacking the social brain to improve educational outcomes.
