Research Interest:
Broadly I'm interested in what variables influence or cause humans to adapt or change their beliefs and/or values. In regards to these changes I'm specifically interested in what types of neural connectivity or brain states correlate with intake of conflicting information to one's beliefs/values when communicating with others. Additionally, due to the social nature of my questions I am especially interested in the use and development of fNIRS for gathering data in more realistic social settings. Currently I'm working on a project that utilizes machine learning to see if we can predict brain states based on data from fNIRS acquisition.
